Cheese Garlic bread is a very delicious as well as healthy dish which is very easy and quick to make. It is a quick bite snack.



Cut the bread loaf into slices.

Melt Butter.

Fry Garlic.
Toast the bread slices with butter.

Toasted Bread.

Apply Garlic.

Spread Cheese.

Toast on Pan.

Prep Time: 5 mins
Cook Time: 10 mins
Serves: 3 to 4 persons


  • A loaf of bread
  • Cheese slices - 2
  • Butter - 3 tsp
  • Minced or grated garlic - 4 tsp
  • Coriander leaves
  • Chilly flakes


  1. Cut the bread loaf into slices.
  2. Heat Tawa; Melt Butter; Grate or mince 3 to 4 garlic into the butter; Mix the grated garlic very well with butter.
  3. Heat the tawa or fry pan , slightly toast the bread slices with butter.
  4. Now apply garlic butter mixture to the bread slices.
  5. Spread cheese slices on the bread.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  7. In a tawa, keep the slices covered, roast till light golden brown and bit toasted at the edges.
  8. Serve garlic bread hot, sprinkled with chilly flakes.
  9. VARIATIONS: Quantity of butter, cheese can be adjusted according to our requirements. <br>Oregano ,black pepper powder or any other herbs of our choice can be used . <Br> We can also use grated mozerella cheese instead of cheese slice.

    I tried this recipe… Kids liked and my son asked me to make as prasadam for Balvikas Children Bhajan. All kids enjoyed eating and left the bhajan hall with a big smile.

    These days, Kids are eating out a lot in pizza corners. Making at home is much healthier and hygeinic and also less costly. Also children will learn to cook themselves. Swami allowed cheese products like pizza in prasanthi nilayam it is ok to eat in nominal amount..sairam..
